Hi Jay,

I finally got ready to catch up on legerdemaine's request that you
forwarded to me. I opened it this morning and then tried to find what
box he is talking about. I simply remember 'legerdemaine's dilemma'
as a thread - a discussion of whether you could count one of your own
boxes as a find in certain circumstances.

I can't find anything in the archives. Can you help point me to the
boxclues that he wants posted?

Happy New Year.

Tom

Re legerdemaine and his dilemma, I think he revels in obstrufication.
Take a closer read, with a mental 'wink' at:

Oh! As I re-read the note, I recall that you may actually have
responded to it, and that our boy-who-is-too-far-down-east came back
with an hilarious swipe at your own stamp art, which you again
responded to with something like "that was my faux period..."

So, he dangled the hook out there and the big fish bit, hard!!!!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha LOL!!!!

I do see that he ended the original post with:

>>Waiting with baited breath,
legerdemaine<<<<<

Game, set, MATCH!

Oh you do make my day today, brother! I'd like to forward this diss-
ing on to the whole wide big list world!
Jay

In any serious competition, assistance from outside
parties (particularly those of expert stature, like
Indian/Tracker/Firefighters) should result in
disqualification. If this is a find, its a tainted
find and should be recorded as such.

Thanks for reviving this enlightening discussion.
Being a newcomer, I was surprised to learn of the
competitive and complex nature of this game.

Here's to keeping honest books,

E

Ledgerdmaine's Dilemma is a letterbox!!!! The clues he gives are hints to
the letterbox. I think we are taking this a bit too seriously!! I don't
think we need to be worrying about finds, plants etc. Remember to have
fun!!
P.S. we are headed for the box tomorrow.
